When Mariama Diallo joined REFGUIDI, her sewing workshop in Kindia was running with three machines and regular orders. She wanted to grow, but with no legal status, no management tools and no access to credit, every large order slipped away.
The journey begins with structuring: choosing a legal status, registering and setting up simple management tools. Mariama then takes three training courses, including one in management, to set her prices better and track her cash flow.
Then comes the funding stage. With the team's help she prepares her file, raises 30 million GNF and obtains a bank loan from one of the network's partner banks.
Two years later, the workshop employs twelve women from Kindia. Mariama's project is still online: you can support it.
« Thanks to REFGUIDI, I organised my workshop, received management training and raised the funds to buy my first machines. »
